Splashball League
An introductory program for youth athletes (ages 8-14. This program is a great entry point into the sport of water polo. This program is a terrific way to teach or enhance water safety skills while learning the basics of water polo. Our program is designed for all kids ages 8-13, with all ability and experience levels welcome. Participants will have the opportunity to compete in controlled scrimmages.

Competitive Youth & High School Programs
This program is designed to teach all athletes, intermediate to advanced, the technical and tactical water polo skills needed to compete at the highest level of play. Athletes will learn the individual fundamentals of mobility, passing, shooting, and defending. Athletes will also learn the tactical water polo strategies of front-court offense and defense, transition/counter-attack, 6v5 and 5v6. Goalkeepers will learn fundamental movements in the goal and how to defend specific tactical situations. Athletes will be divided into teams to compete in local, regional, and national tournaments.

The club water polo year begins in August and is divided into four separate seasons, ending with the National Jr. Olympic Tournament in late July…

FALL SEASON (August – October):

WINTER SEASON (October – February):
– Competitive Youth Program (2-3x per week)
– High School Program (begins in Dec, 2-3x per week)
– Local tournaments

SPRING SEASON (February – April):
– Splashball League (ages 10-14)
– Competitive Youth Program (2-3x per week)
– High School Program (2-3x per week)
– Cal Cup Competition

SUMMER SEASON (May – July):
– Splashball League (ages 10-14)
– Competitive Youth Program (4-5x per week)
– High School Program (4-5x per week)
– U.S. Club Championships
– JO Qualifying & National Jr. Olympics
