Our summer competitive high school boys program will June 1st through July 20th. This program is designed to teach all athletes the technical and tactical water polo skills needed to compete at the highest level of play. Athletes in this program will compete in both regional and national-level tournaments, including National Jr. Olympics. This program is highly competitive and challenging. Please note, California Republic Water Polo Club will remain in compliance with all county and facility rules and guidelines as their pertain to the health and safety of our athletes and coaches.

**Summer Competitive Program Evaluation Day**

Sunday, May 23 at Rocklin High School from 11:15am-1:30pm
All competitive program participants are invited to participate in the evaluation. Rosters for Jr. Olympics and training groups will be determined after this evaluation day.

June 7 – June 17:
BLACK GROUP: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 7:00-9:00pm @ RHS
RED GROUP: Tuesdays & Thursdays 7:00-9:00pm + Saturdays 9:00-11:00am @ RHS

June 21 – July 16:
All practices at Granite Bay High School
All group are Monday through Thursday
RED GROUP: 6:00-7:45pm
BLACK GROUP: 7:30-9:15pm

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, all water polo scrimmages, games, and tournaments are still tentative. Here are the proposed tournaments as of now..

June 11/12/13 – Local tournament
June 18-20 – Jr. Olympic Qualifying Tournament (Clovis, CA)
July 10 – Santa Cruz Classic (18U Boys)
July 11 – Santa Cruz Classic (16U Boys)
July 17-20 – Jr. Olympics in Orange County, CA (16U and 18U teams)

Summer Program Cost & Payment

Our program fee is reflective of the operational costs associated with running a competitive water polo program (pool rental, coaches’ wages, equipment, admin fees, etc.).  The summer water polo program fee is $450/athlete (payment arrangements must be made by 2nd week of program).  This program fee covers all practices and scrimmages, as well as a program t-shirt. Sibling discounts are available. Please note, if you have concerns about the fee, you want info about sibling discounts, or you wish to set-up a payment plan, please contact us at info@calrepublicsc.com.  We want to make sure every athlete has an opportunity to play!

USA Water Polo Membership

All participants must have a current membership with USA Water Polo for the 2021 calendar year and affiliated with California Republic SC (#26152). Athletes who wish to participate in Jr. Olympics must have a “gold” membership and also go through the USAWP age verification process. For those not participating in Jr. Olympics, a “silver” membership will do. Go to USA Water Polo for more information.
