High School Boys (Winter)

Our winter competitive water polo program runs from December 2, 2019 through February 9, 2020. This program is designed to teach all athletes, intermediate to advanced, the technical and tactical water polo skills needed to compete at the highest level of play. Athletes will learn the individual fundamentals of mobility, passing, shooting, and defending. Athletes will also learn the tactical water polo strategies of front-court offense and defense, transition/counter-attack, 6v5 and 5v6. Goalkeepers will learn fundamental movements in the goal and how to defend specific tactical situations. One season of high school water polo experience required.

All participants must be registered as a “Bronze” member with USA Water Polo for the 2020 calendar year and affiliated with California Republic SC (#26152). Go to USA Water Polo to register and/or change club affiliation. If you intend to play in the Kap7 Tournament, you’ll need a “silver” membership. If you intend to eventually play in Jr. Olympics, you’ll need a “Gold” membership. You can upgrade your membership at anytime throughout the year.
