Our spring competitive water polo program runs from February 25 through April 28. This program is designed to teach all athletes, intermediate to advanced, the technical and tactical water polo skills needed to compete at the highest level of play. Athletes will learn the individual fundamentals of mobility, passing, shooting, and defending. Athletes will also learn the tactical water polo strategies of front-court offense and defense, transition/counter-attack, 6v5 and 5v6. Goalkeepers will learn fundamental movements in the goal and how to defend specific tactical situations.
All participants must be registered as a “Gold” member with USA Water Polo for the 2019 calendar year and affiliated with California Republic SC (#26152). Go to USA Water Polo to register or change club affiliation.
